JOB TITLE: Technical Integration Analyst

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Store Relationship Management - PMO

The Technical Integration Analyst will be responsible for integrating Barnes & Noble College Booksellers ("BNCB") systems and services to university systems for the benefit of the student experience.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in projects that involve the BNCB stores and their clients. He/She will be directly involved in communications to the client, field representatives (regional managers, territory VPs) and field store partners.


  • Advocate for our stores and continually champion BNCB standards when engaged with our clients

  • Direct involvement with building the process to support specific on-boarding tasks

  • Acquire knowledge of any utility related the job task, provided by the business applications development team

  • Communicate any issues found with the utility to usher the issue to resolution and completion

  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by their supervisor.


Education Level and Overall Knowledge Required for Position

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Working knowledge of SAML, XML and Shibboleth

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills

  • Strong relationship building/networking skills

  • Ability to efficiently acquire and utilize new skills in response to change

Level of Experience

  • Experience with client support

  • Preferred but not required, experience with Networking concepts
